DESCRIPTION
The Optix Universal field-installable 3X splice-on connector is designed to significantly improve efficiency and reduce costs in fiber optic installations. One of its key advantages is the patented design that allows for multiple uses, offering up to three opportunities for a correct splice. This innovative feature helps eliminate the common "one-and-done" problem associated with other connectors, where a failed splice often means a scrapped connector, leading to unnecessary waste and expense. The Optix 3X splice-on connector is incredibly versatile and user-friendly. It can be easily spliced using any brand of fusion splicer and does not require a special SOC holder. You can simply use the standard sheath clamp or fiber cable holder that comes with your fusion splicer. Another significant benefit is the flexible and reliable silicone strain relief boot. The strain relief boot allows for easy and neat routing within various enclosures and wall-mount boxes. Its long length and stainless steel 30mm splice sleeve offers robust protection for the delicate splice point. The Optix 3X 900um splice-on connector features a simple three-piece design, ensuring fast and consistent field termination. It's ready for splicing on any fusion splicer and is made with high-quality Corning cable. These connectors are available in LC, SC, ST, and FC styles. Our multimode connectors comply with TIA/EIA568C.3, and our single-mode connectors meet Telcordia GR-326 standards. We also back this product with a 20-year product warranty
