The EML250-ID Electronic RFID Marker Locator is engineered for professionals who need accurate, detailed underground utility data—quickly and reliably. The internal read/write capability allows the EML250-ID to read unique serial numbers and read and write custom information from Tempo’s OmniMarker-ID at distances up to 5 feet and from Spike Marker-ID up to 3.3 feet, all across 9 industry-standard frequencies.
In addition to identifying RFID-enabled markers, the EML250-ID passively locates any standard marker ball, offering full compatibility across utility types and applications.
Read and write actions are automatically recorded, ensuring clear data traceability. Integration is seamless with the Locator Link Mobile App, which allows for fast file transfer to GIS systems or cloud-based storage. For even greater positional accuracy, the EML250-ID pairs with external GNSS devices to precisely map each marker’s location.
A high-visibility color LCD provides a clear interface in varying field conditions, and the IP65/IP55-rated housing offers dependable protection against dust and water. The unit is fully rechargeable, reducing downtime and eliminating the need for disposable batteries.
