TEMPO | CableScout Time Domain Reflectometer | #TV220EX
TEMPO COMMUNICATIONS | PART #TV220EX
DESCRIPTION
TV220EX goes where you go! This “extreme” version of the CableScout TV220E time domain reflectometer is self-contained, ruggedized, and water-resistant so it can handle any job site. The case has ample storage inside for all of your accessories while remaining lighter and more compact than other MTDRs on the market today.
The TV220EX is an advanced TDR targeted at cable TV diagnostic technicians working in the latest “HFC” (hybrid fiber coax) networks. The TV220EX places the TV220E into a hardshell case and features the same sleek design and modern user interface with a full-color touchscreen and higher resolution for easy and accurate testing. The TDR engine offers lower noise and higher bandwidth tracing allowing you to see subtle faults on the cable missed by other TDRs. The range is extended through greater data capture plus the inclusion of longer “digital” pulses and the TestWizard with automatic event detector helps speed up common fault finding.
The multi-touch features of the touchscreen make routine tasks simpler and faster with pinch-to-zoom etc., while TV220E retains push buttons for straightforward control when working in the field. Sharing results is easy; you can take quick screenshots to send by mobile device or transfer saved results via USB drive.
To create reports from the files saved in the TV220E you can use the Tempo Report Writer software or for fast, wireless reporting you can download the NEW iOS and Android Apps.

OVERVIEW
TV220EX applies modern future-proof technology bringing higher bandwidth and lower noise to your team. Supporting this with a modern ergonomic, compact, and tough enclosure with an internal lithium polymer battery pack with fast charging and monitoring. TV220EX gives the user the option of saving simple screenshots or full traces for later analysis or to share with co-workers. With an updated “TestWizard™” automatic event detection system to allow you to immediately target the worst service-affecting faults first; your technician can see what’s happening on the cable with just a few keypresses or taps of the touchscreen
