DESCRIPTION
The Optix America WRX12R ribbon fusion splicer provides dependable splicing for both ribbon and single fiber optic cables, including 250um rollable ribbon fiber. This rugged and durable unit has an IP52 Ingress Protection Rating. Featuring SMART arc control technology, the WRX12R automatically adjusts the arc value based on the number of fibers being spliced and the quality of the fiber cleaves. It also utilizes PAS LED technology for fiber alignment, eliminating the need for mirror adjustments and cleaning. The complete kit includes a precision cleaver, thermal stripper, 12f fiber holders, optional 250um or 900um single fiber holders, V-groove cleaning tools, and an 840mAH high-capacity battery that provides over 240 splicing and heat cycles.
