DESCRIPTION

The HSC-715QR hardline coring and stripping tool kit is designed to core and strip 0.715” (18.16 mm) diameter Quantum Reach cables such as QR715 cable and other similar sized cables. This kit is used by construction crews, cable splicers, and maintenance technicians on hardline cables whether aerial or underground and for distribution or drop applications

  • Ideal for use when a QR715 cable needs to be terminated and replaced, or when a connector is added
  • Specifically designed for QR715 Quantum Reach cable
  • Built-in ratcheting handles for comfort and speed
  • Heavy-duty aluminum body lasts a lifetime
  • Replacement blades and coring bits can be purchased separately (no need to ever replace the entire tool)
  • Stripping and coring blades are made of high carbon steel and heat-treated for long life
  • Made to allow the jacket stripper to be stored directly on the coring tool for convenience
  • Can be used with an electric drill by simply removing the T handle for faster coring
